Paço d'Anha is an old manor house in the province of Minho, with a simple but mannerial architecture. It is named Paço d'Anha because D. António Prior do Crato, who was acclaimed King of Portugal, lodged himself here at the time he was persecuted by the spanish soldiers in 1580. It has been property of the Agorreta family for more than 400 years.

You can drive till the front door; quietness is absolute, only disturbed by the nature sounds and the works in the farm. If the guests want to, they can go in and out with all discretion because the houses have their own entrances.

Guests can visit the vineyards and the cellars of the famous VINHO VERDE "PAÇO D'ANHA"; they can enjoy themselves in the woods, tennis court, big pond and stone tables for an afternoon snack.
