CASA DAS TORRES - FACHA, PONTE DE LIMA

This manor is a fine example of 18th century architecture during the reign of King D. João V.

In one of the most beautiful villages of Ponte de Lima, called Facha, rises the Casa Das Torres, built in 1751 by Duarte Pereira da Silva. It is a manor of big and harmonious proportions, with the central body framed with rich doorways and balconies having parapets of forged iron. In the borders two elegant towers garnished with two graceful pyramids rise. Its granite factory perfectly carved in the most pure Baroque style, was the extraordinary project of Nicolau Nasoni.

It has three rooms and two flats. The elegant and comfortable decoration, games room and bar provide a stay and a quality service. Outside, the beautiful gardens with swimming pool, provide an invitation to set off on a journey of discovery.

Its panoramic view that dominates the large and bucolic Valley of the Lima River, as well as the contemplation of the sun set are rare privileges that delight the spirit and carry us to meditation.
