QUINTA DO SOBREIRO DA FACHA - FACHA, PONTE DE LIMA
The Quinta do Sobreiro, located in Facha by the Portuguese Camino de Santiago (Caminho Português de Santiago) is an authentic farmhouse that brings guests back to the ancient roots of the Minho region.
Built in the 17th century, this property of 16 hectares (1 hectare corresponds to 10.000 m2) is owned by Rute Correia's family. She likes to welcome the guests and tell the local stories: how her family inherited the Quinta and how they reconverted it into this unique place. A magnificent entrance leadis you through vineyards of vinho verde and roses ending in a rustic garden with a swimming pool, as well as to the front door of the main house that opens to a very welcoming living room and eight double rooms. At an annex building, Quinta do Sobreiro has a little charming museum where the antiques agriculture equipment used in formers time can be seen.
