The Quinta do Sobreiro, located in Facha by the Portuguese Camino de Santiago (Caminho Português de Santiago) is an authentic farmhouse that brings guests back to the ancient roots of the Minho region.

A magnificent entrance leadis you through vineyards of vinho verde and roses ending in a rustic garden with a swimming pool, as well as to the front door of the main house that opens to a very welcoming living room and eight double rooms. At an annex building, Quinta do Sobreiro has a little charming museum where the antiques agriculture equipment used in formers time can be seen.

The farm has a big variety of plantation fields and a remarkable chestnut forest. This beautiful farm is a very peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature.

Our story begins when cousin Rute entrusted us with this legacy, consisting of the house, the property and adjacent fields, namely the chestnut plantation that has 15 years and previously were fields of corn and vine. The house where the rooms are today, the hall and the kitchen were used to store the crops and agricultural material. In 2004 the rehabilitation works that we present today to our distinguished guests were finalized and thus allowed us to improve the art of receiving.
