Casa da Serra is located in the heart of Minho, in the high mountains of Serra d'Arga in the small secluded village of Cerquido in the Ponte de Lima municipality. This special mountain dwelling has been recovered by owner Filipe Pimenta for rural tourism. The restoration project of this exclusive rustic home also created a small garden, matching with the unique surrounding rural environment, and was carefully designed to provide absolute peace and comfort to guests.

The house has 2 bedrooms with private bathrooms upstairs, a modern kitchen and a living room with a fire place on the ground floor with lovely picture windows that take your breath away from sunrise to sunset.

This house with appealing colourful décor boasts a privileged view to the south of the natural outstanding landscapes of the valley, from the plains of Estorãos to the banks of the river Lima. The house and the village of Cerquido, ensure permanent contact with nature, contact with local life and rural tranquility. Among the many varieties of activities that guests can enjoy from the Casa da Serra, are the local events and parties, outdoor extreme adventures, bird watching or observing wild ponies running free.

Workshops in various areas of interest, tours of the Serra d'Arga, hiking, 65 km of bike trails, picturesque water mills, experiences in the mountains that allow contemplation of nature, the stars and constellations, the waterfalls, and visits to places such as the Monastery of São João d'Arga (classified as a national monument), the village of Cabração and wolfram mines, the Romanesque Chapel of “Espírito Santo” in Moreira, the ”Castro” of Monte Santo Ovídio, the natural park of Bertiandos, the educational farm of Pentieiros, which offers horseback trail riding, the “Ecovias” and Interpretation Center of Serra d'Arga.
