Formerly the residence of the Viscounts of St. Caetano, this 17th century manor house provided the subject for a novel written by the famous Portuguese author Agustina Bessa. Its graceful architecture, 17th century chapel, swimming pool and gardens provide a serene and comfortable setting and the views of the Serra da Estrela mountain range are spectacular.
