Casa dos Castelejos is located on Campo Branco, a privileged area for the habitat of birds like the great bustard, black-belied sandgrouse, partrige and many other birds that enrich the local fauna and transform it on the perfect place for bird watching.
Casa dos Castelejos is a country house that respects the unique characteristics of Alentejo with a touch of modernity, so that its guests can enjoy it with maximum comfort and peace. The reconstruction of this architectonic artefact has preferred material from the region such as bricks, schist, wooden ceilings with beam and some stone.
The elegance of the decoration is a sign of the good taste of the Brito Paes family that has dedicated a lot of time and imagination to the restoration of all the property. The 8 bedrooms and the one apartment for 2 people on the main house are completed by a porch and a garden with aromatic plants, which are perfect for moments of relaxation and to enjoy the surrounding landscape.

Casa dos Castelejos can be occupied exclusively by a group of friends of family. If this option is chosen you will have the kitchen, with all of its tools, available to prepare meals. The house also can be used as the perfect place for family and friends enjoy what Alentejo has best to offer.
Casa dos Castelejos is located on the middle of the hunting region of Castro Verde and Mértola. Here you can hunt, take walks, ride horses and bicycles, make picnics, visit the breeding pens for bovines, participate on gastronomical workshops, birdwatching, fishing, wine tasting, and other activities, all on the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Casa dos Castelejos is situated at Monte do Guerreiro, between Castro Verde and Mértola, and is an invitation to discover the authenticity of the Alentejo region.
