Quinta do Barracão da Vilariça is located in Vila Flor, on the Vilariça valley, right on the heart of northeast Trás-os-Montes. Quinta do Barracão da Vilariça has 220 ha and the Vilariça stream crosses it a mere 60m from the house.

The land possesses an excellent olive grove, grape vines, almond groves and endless fields for the ovine cattle whose breed is churro/Terrincho da Terra Quente Transmontana. The area is also the origin of several protected products such as cheeses, wines, olive oil, fruit jams and many others.
