Quinta do Terreiro is an 18th century estate, located in a rural estate, recently recovered, preserving its original characteristics, bringing in elements of modernity that assure the best comfort to its guests.
It is located in Lalim, Lamego, in the Douro region, an area with lots of monuments, ideal to enjoy some cultural tourism. You can enjoy the traditional streets of the old village of Lalim or Anta de Mazes, a medieval village that still maintains some of their primitive ways or go to some of the most beautiful viewpoints of the region: Serra das Meadas, São Domingos, São Leonardo da Galafura and Alto de Loureiro.
The House has 10 bedrooms for guests, all heated, with TV and phone. When rebuilding, there was the concern of keeping in sight, whenever possible, the original stone. So don't be surprised if, behind a window, you find an original hinge. Each room was assigned with a name of a celebrity linked to the Douro region, remarkable in the fields of literature, history or archaeology. A simple way of honouring our cultural references.
