In the typical village of Cabrela, in the Alto Alentejo region, Casa do Rossio is a fine example of the palatial villas of the rich farmers of the mid 20th century.

In the 50s Casa do Rossio was subject to a deep refurbishment and extension, testified by the tiles of the entrance and by the surroundings of the main house. In that occasion, several rooms were upgraded with astonishing fire places of marble and granite. In the outside, a courtyard with fruit and decorative trees was built. Nowadays, Casa do Rossio guests have plain access to a multifunctional room, a small swimming pool in a contiguous wooden leisure area with a traditional baking oven, that delights all nature lovers.
