CASA DE JUSTE - LOUSADA, Porto
Located 60 km north of Porto in the so-called Entre-Douro-e-Minho, Casa de Juste is a manor house, surrounded by gardens and vineyards, whose tradition and history has more than 600 years. The Casa de Juste has always belonged to the same family since its foundation, the Riba Douro.
All the buildings were rebuilt and adapted to the different activities. From the Main House and its annexes with 10 rooms, dining room for meals, games room, gallery of expositions, events hall, swimming pool and surrounding spaces with gardens, to an old Eira (threshing floor) rebuilt in a Country House with 4 bedrooms, living rooms, kitchen and swimming pool. A small shop was built to sell Casa de Juste products, taking advantage of local artisans and Portuguese suppliers, creating the concept of a "gift shop". A small food factory was also built to make use of the fruits that are currently being cultivated with special highlight for blackberries, to which we intend to give an emblematic image through the juices, jams, ice creams and the fragrance which predominates in all the spaces.
