How to Get There

From Lisbon: Follow the directions of A12 Sul/Ponte Vasco da Gama. You will cross the bridge "Vasco da Gama". Exit the motorway on the exit to Alcochete and follow the directions to Alcochete, where you will find the house located near the river, in front of the garden with the statue of D. Manuel I.

Quinta da Praia, which overlooks the River Tejo in the picturesque town of Alcochete, was built in the 16th century and was once the residence of the Marquês de Soydos. The exquisite interior of the house is enhanced by magnificent panels of Portuguese tiles.
