Buit in the 14th century and expanded in the 18th century, recently restored, has an history linked to Father António de Azevedo who was Camilo Castelo Branco's teatcher on his youth and to whom the latter dedicated his masyter piece " O Bem e o Mal " ( The good and the Evil). A Camilian library is being organised in honour of the great romance writer.

First built in the 14th century and extended in the 18th century this recently restored house was once the home of the famous Portuguese priest and writer António de Azevedo whose masterpiece was “O Bem e o Mal” (The Good and the Evil). It is an excellent base from which to explore the beauty of the Marão countryside.
