Built in 1652, this house has a timeless elegance reflected in its beautiful central courtyard overlooked by some of the guest rooms created from converted stables. Agriculture and viniculture have been the dominant activities here for centuries and guests can take part in the grape harvest and taste the product in the wine-tasting cellar. There is a swimming pool and gardens with fine tile panels by the famous Portuguese artist Jorge Colaço.
