The origin of this manor house with coat of arms, and chapel, dates back to the mid-17th century. Located in the valley of the river Cávado, at the heart of Minho, quite near the town of Braga. The area is very rich in terms of historical, cultural and religious heritage, as well as in its handicraft, which is linked to the ancestral origins of its people.
From Oporto Airport: take the motorway A3 to Braga, turning off at Celeirós exit. After paying the toll turn right in direction to Braga. In Braga follow the direction to the railway station. At the roundabout turn left towards Prado/Ponte de Lima. Continue straight on 5km, you will cross the roman bridge of Prado and the town upon reaching a roundabout, turn left in the way to Barcelos. 500m after, in opposite of the Church, turn left and you will find the gatehouse with the name on the wall.
